Relict grove of Crimea – Yew gorge
All those who like to go on a trip to the mountainous Crimea usually start their journey from the Angarsk Pass. It is easy to get there, just take a bus or trolley bus.
While at the pass, you can go on an excursion to see the picturesque plateau of the Chatyr-Dag massif.
This path can be overcome through the Tysovoye Gorge. Walking along a wide path, you will find yourself near the cliff of the plateau.
Even though the road will be directed to the north, the traveler will have to turn west and go in this direction. This path is more difficult.
Since you will have to walk along the steps. But as a reward in the end you will find yourself at the entrance to a large fault – a kind of giant crack. The reason for its formation is the sliding limestone massif due to erosion processes.
It is constantly cool in the large crevice. Since the sun cannot penetrate there. Naturally, because of this, a unique microclimate has formed there.
That is why a rare evergreen tree grows there – the yew berry, because of the crowns of which the corner turns into a mystical place.
